Associated Experts from Endeva met for a strategy workshop
This international policy forum, which took place between the 15th and 16th September in Berlin, followed up on the Bilateral Donors’ Statement in Support of Private Sector Partnerships for Development, signed by eleven bilateral donors and presented at the UN Private Sector Forum in 2010. Furthermore, it will provide input to leading international processes, such as the G20 Multi-Year Action Plan on Development and the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan, to be held 29 November – 1 December 2011.
In light of this upcoming high level forum in Busan, goals of the forum included defining ways for donors to support inclusive business and how it can help reach broader development goals. The forum also aimed to encourage further cooperation projects between the public and private sector. Participants were representatives of bilateral donors, multilateral organizations, the private sector, academia, and foundations.
A group of Endeva’s associated experts were involved in the concept development, moderation, and documentation of the conference.
