Endeva held a workshop on innovating sustainable business solutions with people living in poverty
How can people living in poverty be integrated into the development of sustainable business solutions?
During an interactive workshop at the 3rd Bonn Conference on International Development Policy 2012, Endeva’s managing directors Aline and Christina presented a variety of tools that help companies understand the needs of their target group – and set up a business model that addresses them sustainably. Participants worked on business models around a water filter for the Cambodia market, a micro-pension for Ghana, and a model to integrate farmers, entrepreneurs and consumers into local value chains. Due to the lively discussions that went on for over an hour after the workshop, participants were almost locked into the congress center. We thank all participants for their enthusiasm and for the fruitful exchange!
