Piera held a presentation on inclusive business at the University of Lausanne
Nov. 10, 2011: Associated Expert Piera Waibel held a presentation about the Base of the Pyramid & Inclusive Business for master students at the University of Lausanne in the lecture "Business Ethics & Marketing" of Dr. Dorothée Baumann. The presentation included the potential for inclusive business models to serve as a bridge between business and the poor, for the benefit of both parties.
The interesting discussion that ensued centered around case studies, mainly focused on the issues of vulnerability of the consumers at the BoP and (non)ethical marketing practices.
