Swiss companies are approaching the BoP, but are still at the beginning of a learning journey, say Martin and Piera in NZZ-article
September 27, 2011: Associated Endeva experts Martin Herrndorf and Piera Waibel published an article in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ). The article describes how Swiss companies are approaching the Base of the Pyramid with their products, services, and business models. Though there is much potential for poverty alleviation in these approaches, many companies are still at the beginning of a learning journey. Development organizations continue to play an important role to ensure an enabling environment and basic infrastructure.
