Beth Jenkins is an analyst and strategic advisor who specializes in social sustainability. She has worked on inclusive business for more than 15 years, since helping CK Prahalad and Al Hammond introduce the concept back when it was called “bottom of the pyramid” business.

Beth’s career has criss-crossed the public and private sectors, civil society and academia, with an increasing focus on strengthening the systems that make business growth and social impact possible. She frames complex issues in ways her clients can act on, helps them incorporate emerging best practice and avoid common pitfalls in the process, and tells their stories in ways that position them as leaders with the audiences they care about. She has authored more than 30 publications and numerous blogs.

Beth is currently a Managing Director of SocialSide Insight and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Corporate Responsibility Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University.
